[RESOLVED] Microsoft Report Viewer control
Do I need to download the Microsoft Report Viewer control separately from Microsoft?
I cannot seems to find this Microsoft Report Viewer control in the toolbox of my Microsoft C# 2008 Express Edition.

Re: Microsoft Report Viewer control
Ok, found it, right click at Tool box and choose Items.
I see Report Viewer control under All Windows Forms group
Why is it I don't see a Reporting subgroup?
Eg, I have Data subgroup with:
- Pointer
- DateSet
- DataGridView
etc
Menu & Toolbars subgroup with:
- pointer
- Menustrip
etc
How do I enable the Reporting subgroup in the toolbox?

Re: Microsoft Report Viewer control
There's no Reporting subgroup to enable. If you want to create one then create one, but Express editions don;t come with reporting components so they don't have a Reporting group in the Toolbox.

Re: Microsoft Report Viewer control
You are right. There's no Reporting subgroup in Express edition.
It looks like the screenshot from the tutorial I was looking at, has a new 'tab'.
So the answer to that is to add a new tab, call it Reporting and drag the Report Viewer control from the All Windows tab to the Reporting tab.
Question has been answered and resolved.
Thank you.
