Steve Jobs is trying to convert me.
FedEx just showed up with a delivery for me containing 6 copies of "Using Mac OSX snow leopard"
What am I supposed to do with them? make 1,800 paper airplanes?

Re: Steve Jobs is trying to convert me.
Put them on eBay at half the list price and then when you have sold all six take your 100% profit and buy something nice.
With the money you make form those books you might even be able to afford an ice cream cone (of course, you would have to shell out the money from your own pocket for the actual ice cream)

Re: Steve Jobs is trying to convert me.
even though I try not to call them my "friends" in public, I do have a few buddies who use Macs. Maybe they will make some use of them and stop asking me questions about macs I can't answer.

You mean like: "Why did I buy this computer?"

Re: Steve Jobs is trying to convert me.
the hardest one to answer is "why is my $1800 macbook slower than your $1000 laptop"

Re: Steve Jobs is trying to convert me.
PC users don't read manuals! I guess Mactards don't even know what RTFM is, because they always read it. Personally, if I'm going to read something 300 pages long, it sure as hell won't be an OS manual.

Sell them on eBay at one cent less than the list price.

Re: Steve Jobs is trying to convert me.
Go to Apple stores near your house and hand them to the Geniuses, saying "Hope this helps."

Re: Steve Jobs is trying to convert me.
Run an online business. Sell all six of them for a profit. Then buy a couple hundred more. Sell those for the same price. Use the money to get a Mac.

Re: Steve Jobs is trying to convert me.
Put on a turtleneck and black jeans, hang out at the mall holding one of these books, saying things like "you may not touch my monkey" to imaginary friends. Refer to yourself as Dieter.

Re: Steve Jobs is trying to convert me.
Paint the cover of the books completely white. Wear your Steve Jobs outfit and sell the books at malls, calling it the only book you'll ever need.

Use the books to plug the oil well leak in the Gulf of Mexico.

You know, that's actually not a bad idea!
