Winsock and your router...
I'm having difficulties. The website run on our server was recently attacked. In this light, the administrator has disabled all Winsock from coming in/coming out. Only the default ports are free. (80, 110, etc.). I want to send data INSIDE of the network using winsock.
Whenever I connect now it fails, and this is the reason. Is there an option on the router to let a certain port be used if it comes from inside the network?

And also what does PPPoE do? I know it's Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet, but what exactly does it do? Can I use this to help me?
