I have made a few posts about this. Based on the advice of a forum member I bought two D-link routers (model 4500, great lights!). I have had problems with SOHO equipment not responding correctly when the TTL expires. Here is what my home net looks like:

Code:
      Internet
        |
        |
        |
       WP
      -----
     |IRTR |LP---Server
      -----
        LP
        |
        |
        |
       WP
      -----
     |WRTR |LP---DlinkNAS321
      -----

  MyPC – WIFI to WRTR

     WP = WAN Port
     LP = LAN Port

     IRTR Dlink4500– primary internet access
     WRTR Dlink4500– wifi rtr

     IRTR – LAN – 192.168.3.0 /24
     WRTR – LAN – 192.168.1.0 /24
When I tracert from my pc to the server it looks like this

Code:
Tracing route to 192.168.3.2 over a maximum of 30 hops

  1    <1 ms    <1 ms    <1 ms  192.168.3.2

Trace complete.
Not correct. So I missed something in the config, or they are just another SOHO router. BTW - they are the best so far in other areas I test.
