Assistance writing batch file
Hi, I am trying to write a batch (bat) file to zip up and archive files and then replace them with new blank files. Is someone able to point me in the right direction for doing such a thing using whatever I need to use to zip up files and rename, copy, replace them? Am I in the correct area for such a question?

You weren't, but I've moved it to the most apt forum we've got - which is "General Developer"

Is this for *nix or Windows?
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'
