How are linux applications distributed ?
Hi,
I use Ubuntu 9.10, and I have made an application using FreePascal, now I would like to install the application on another linux machine.
How can I do this?

Re: How are linux applications distributed ?
It depends on which distro you are planning to install it. For Ubuntu/Debian/etc you would package it as a .deb file and install that on the target machine. Fedora/RedHat/Suse/etc. use the RPM package format.
