    can anyone get local host addr like mirc style, and not the pc name? thank you

    Use Winsock

    You can use the winsock-control, or you can use API call to find out what it is. I don't know about API, so i'll tell you about winsock...
    Use Winsock1.localIP this will return the local IP of your IP address, where Winsock1 is the name of the winsock control give by you. default is Winsock1..
