Dell Vostro 200 Wont Boot Up
Hi guys,
I got a problem with my Dell Vostro 200. I bought it last year it was running fine until yesterday. It started with a hangup as i was browsing the internet. I cold reboot it and then now it wont boot. I can only see the startup dell logo and then it freezes. It won't continue booting. I restarted a couple of times until the monitor has blue vertical stripes all over.
I removed the memory, battery and then I tighten up all connections but i failed. The fan is still running and the HDD is still running coz i hear the ticking sound but it just wont boot.
Could it be a monitor issue or mobo?

Re: Dell Vostro 200 Wont Boot Up
you can't post at all with no installed memory. Try one memory stick at a time. It sounds exactly like you had a ram chip fail.
