Question Visual Basic can't do this??? Please help!

    Hi All,

ok... what im talking about is using multiple quries in the data report tool.

I need to display a report with several queries included (4) where 3 of them have to be child commands (in the data environment) of the first, Somebody told me that the visual basic data report tool cant handle more than one command on each level, and i am just not willing to beleive this, it seems so basic to me, and it's a child's play to do it in MS Access.

    Please Help,

    David.

    Reports.....

Why you are using Data Report???

Actually;I don't have actual answer to your Question But

I advise you to Stop using Data Report and Try using Crystal Report instead.

,,It will help you then to use more than One Queries and lots of Formulas as much as you want..

    Go Head...

    Workaround :
You first need to write your basic queries in MS Access (or other BackEnd DB) and bring it in VB's Data Environment as 'View'. Subsequently you can build your required multiple-group query based on these 'views'.

Crystal Reports is made by Seagate Software (They don;t just make HDD's!!). An older, Win3x-style version comes with VB (Pro anyway).

I dont see the difference, i am using imported SQL statements, which is basically identical, please elaborate on your workaround.
