    Question Deployment of project

    I have created a windows project and a set up project alongside. When I run the .msi it does not create a .dll or an .exe even if the installer says "install is complete". Any ideas?

    This is probably better suited for the deployment forum, but, you need to give some more details besides "it doesn't work".
    Where I'm from we only have one bit of advice for new comers: "If you hear banjos, turn and run".

    I build the set up project and it creates a .msi and an .exe. I copy the .mis to another pc and run the .msi. It shows the wizard and completes normally. I do not see any shortcuts and I do not see any .exe or .dll. I see the project in the "All Programs" but nothing happens when I click the line. I know my description is vague but maybe someone could point me in a good direction. Thank you.
