Earthlink isn't helping me out..grrrr....
I finally got rid of aol (sort of). Now I can connect with earthlink and do everything but view web pages. Earthlink provides no help. You guys know?

since you had [cough]AOL[\cough] and then you got rid of it, chances are you might have to reinstall IE. unless earthlink installed one for ya. I have not heard of anyone taking off AOL successfully. It has a tendency to take part of windows with it.

AOL has the most destructive uninstall programs I have ever witnessed, it's a massacre of your operating system. Not pretty.

The worst I've come across was one of these Un-installer programs, like Norton Uninstall type thing, I didn't know what I was doing, wanted to free hard drive space & clicked left right & centre onto this program, they can be pretty lethal

Hey give me a break...I was in sixth grade with aol 2.5! I didn't know how bad it was. And then my sister refused to give it up becuase she could talk to people online!
Well it works now. I don't know why, but I am proud to say, this is my first non-aol site I have gone to, and this is my first post on earthlink. Thanks and have a good day
