Has anyone played this yet?

I've only played the demo on XBox live (demo's worth a look actually).

From what I can see it looks quite good. Generally I get bored very quickly with FPS games because they are always very samey. This one has some interesting new features (or at least I've never seen them before...).

- If you sprint for a few seconds, you go into an even faster sprint mode that lets you kill an opponent by running into him (tricky to do actually).

- The respawn mode is nice, you can choose where you land (you get dropped at high-speed from orbit) and you can change your loadout to suit (like COD4).

- You can see your opponent's health bar.

The demo doesn't show the single player mode, only multiplayer (which is unusual for a demo!).

I was thinking of maybe getting a copy unless anyone has played it and thinks it's garbage.

EDIT: the only trailers I can find are of what looks like multiplayer stuff as well :S Are you sure the is a single player? lol

I'm pretty sure the internet told me it was single player too. Are you calling the internet a liar? I think you owe it an apology.

haha I think it is technically single player but the single player is basically just multiplayer but with bots instead of real human opponents... which to me basically means there is no single player

Yes, and it's also the distant pre-cursor to Area 51.
