Musical Notation Software
I am looking for some musical notation software.
I would prefer a system that is free, such as MuseScore, NoteEdit or Lilypond/Denemo (which I found listed on Wikipedia).
I am wondering if any of you can provide any recommendations, advise on a
systems strengths/weaknesses or suggest other systems.

Re: Musical Notation Software
Depends what you want it to do. I use Finale Notepad as a free notation tool.
If you want to splash the cash, get Sibelius.
Edit: I downloaded Finale Notepad when it was free. Seems they've now put a $10 charge on it
But $10 isn't really a lot....

Thanks for moving this thread Marty, unfortunately I wasn't thinking straight when I posted it.
Thanks for the suggestion of Finale Notepad, Zaza - I haven't made a decision yet as to which to go for.
