Is Visual Basic 2005 not included in Visual Studio 2005?

    Guys,
    Just a quick question.
Is Visual Basic 2005 not included in Visual Studio 2005?
Please accept my appology for posting here. I've been googling myself to death and searching for the right forum to ask. When I launch Visual studio 2005 I'm left saying to myself, "Where's the Visuab Basic editor?" When I launch Visual studio there's a column called "P roject Types" and below that column is Something called "Business Intelligence Projects". Then there's a '+' sign to drill into "Other Project types" and thats it! I only see stuff for Analysis, Reporting, and Integration services but no Visual Basic.

Anyway, here's the "About" info. And again I'm really sorry for posting in the wrong place.

There are different flavors of Visual Studio and what you get depends on the version you got... based on the list of installed components from your About box there... I'd say to you got the Database edition.... in which case, no it doesn't come with VB. Hope you didn't pay for it.

However, you can get VB Express for free goto http://msdn.microsoft.com and look for VB 2008 Express... that will come with the latest VB tools, and it's free.

    Thanks for responding.
Your right, it came with SQL server.

Since my first post I found the right Visual studio set to use. The right disks also came with the package deal. I just overlooked them.

    Cheers!!
