A small summary of the project.
The project is to integate Wayne Dresser fuel pumps into an existing point of sale system.
The application should be able to handle all fuel related components including pre-pay,
pre-authorization. A broad range of payment methods including Debit/Credit card integration
will be required as well. The system will have several security layers for employees
to modify fuel grades/prices in a user friendly screen. The backend should handle
all the details of the pump controller cards included various gas readings including
gas inventories. The application should written as a multi-threaded application for
each pump controller. Part of the requirment will be to include all documentation,
proof of pci compliance, and field testing complete before escrow account is released.
Final code will be reviewed by a group of developers specializing in hardware, software
integration of such cards. All source code will belong to the owner after the project is
complete.
