asp.net ajax control

Can someone point me to get the Ajax asp.net control to show under my toolbox in visual studio 2005? Currently, I don't see it anywhere there.

What version of Visual Studio 2005 are you using?

Have you had a look here:

Where you can download and install the Controls that are available.

If this isn't what you are after, then you should be able to specifically add the core AJAX Controls by right clicking on your toolbox and selecting "Choose Items" and clicking the ones that you want.
