VS 2005 Crystal report'
I was working on Crystal report with VS 2005.I made test report with sql server 2000(Northwind database).and displays record but record are showing in random order rather than any particular order.can any one help me what should i suppose to do that record displays in order

create a group for the field for which you want some order, you can made that ascending or descending or original format.

There no need to create a group if you don't need one. You can just use the sort options.

well thanks for ur reply ,secondly could u please further describe what does it mean sort options(either its relate to crystal report to .NET IDE)

When using Crystal, you can take the information returned to you from the database and present it in a sorted fashion, either alphabetically or numerically. In Crystalk itself, the sort button is on the toolbar and on the Report menu. Never used it directly in VB so I don't know which menu it is on.

thanks for ur reply,but can u please tell me how i remove left panel from screen while viewing report.a tree like structure on left side and jsut want report

Called the Group Tree. There is a button on the toolbar in Crystal or the View menu.
