    Question A Problem

My school needs to install some software from the main district server. I have little idea how to do the following things:

    1. Remove a piece of software (Norton Anti-virus 2000) - Like the way you can from Add/Remove Progs

    2. Allow for a reset somehow.

    3. Then open and heavily interact with IE. I need to fill in a password box (not a pop up), then fill out an ASP form and submit...then execute a link on a page.

    4. Allow for another reset

    5. End program

As you can see this is a pretty wide array of things it has to do. I have no leads on how to do this. So any tips/code/links would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Some comments

    1. I'd hate to have to write something like that in a one man shop.

    2. pcAnywhere is probably your most cost-effective approach if you
have an NT Win9X mix on the network.

    3. Terminal Server in an all Windows-2000 network will let you do this
It comes with 2000. Talk your boss into going to W2K.

    4. Writing CODE like this will take you longer (by a factor of about 20) to write than walking/driving to each location and installing.
Does your boss want to pay you for that? prb'ly not. You'd rather do the code I'm sure.

And if you're rolling in dough buy ControlIt from Computer Associates.
