    HAWX - review

Does anyone else have this yet? I grabbed it last night.

It's easy to pick up, I was flying like a pro after about an hour.

    Favourite jet:

I don't know how many levels there are yet but I've just finished that level where you have to fly between a bunch of radar zones and blast some fools.

It's fun and non-mentally-taxing. I've not tried the multiplayer yet but I reckon it's probably pretty good.

You can issue voice commands such as:
    "Change Target"
    "Change Weapon"
    "Radar"

...Which when I tried it, it selected a tank on the ground, then fired two air-to-air missiles wildly into the atmosphere, then I crashed into a mountain.

    £42 from WHSmith

    Summary:
Think "F22 Lightning" (circa 1999) but with broken voice recognition.
I don't live here any more.

It prompts phrases such as: "Oh look, I'm going backwards at 400 mph!".

Does it keep you amused? How long do you predict it will keep you amused? Was it worth the money?

    1) Yes, for now.
    2) Until I finish it, then I'll play it through on the hardest setting, then I'll probably sell it.
    3) Probably not, but all games are really expensive now because of the economy. I guess politicians don't play video games.

It must be the same voice recognition software used by Office.
