    Resolved [RESOLVED] hard drive swapping

    My computer is getting old so i need to get a new one. i am wondering if there is some way to take my old hard drive out and put it in the new computer and still have visual studio pro work? I lost the install disk.

    Short answer:
    Nope...

    Long answer:
    VB has thousands of registry keys, environment variables and libraries, so physically it isn't possible to install that to the new PC. It is way too much work to get all those things together.
    Delete it. They just clutter threads anyway.
