[RESOLVED] Diving into Java - [Help Needed]

good day,
i have been trying to learn a new language...Java

But the problem i have is that i am doing this with NetBeans IDE, so i get confused every now and then.

Most Java books i have read talks about JDK, which i don't know where to download it from.

Although, they(the books) provide a link to java.sun.com, but each time i go to this address, i get confused soon enough not to know where to download JDK.

i beleive the reason am confused with NetBeans IDE is cos am new to Java, so learning the IDE and Java at the same time is daunting.

so please can somebody give me a link as to where i can download JDK 6.
