We use a workgroup in the office, and I have WAMP Server on a XP box on the network.
All users use Windows xp, just me using Vista. You can see the dev server and websites by just typing the machine's name in your browser.

Before this reinstall of my Vista machine last night all worked fine also.
Now I can access the network, open files on the XP machine and edit it, but when I try to open it in my browser it cannot.

I disabled firewalls (both windows and Norton), tried using the xp box's ip address, everything......still cant connect.

Think I can safely assume its not a permission problem. After joining the vista machine to the workgroup, I can open and edit files on that xp machine.

Been installing software till 4:00 am this morning, so kinda brain dead, but don't think I left out anything.
