    Inexpensive asp.net 2.0 domain hosting

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a company that web hosting for a domain that supports the .net 2.0 framework.

In my searches I've noticed that I can get a domain that supports asp.net 2.0 apps and comes with 1000mb file storage and 30mb sql server space for $20/month

However, I really only need 50mb space (30mb with room to spare) and I wont be using any databases at all and the app itself will be made in VS 2008, but will only need to target the 2.0 framework so buying a domain and getting all that hosting $20/month would be overkill and a financial waste.

I'm hoping someone knows of a company (like doteasy except with .net 2.0 support).

    Edit:
What about this for $3.75/month: m6 Netstarter ?

Mendhak recommended JodoHost to me quite some time ago. I eventually signed-up for a VPS and could not be happier.

While I use their VPS they have standard Windows hosting as well. There cheapest plan is $6.95 a month (you get a 2.5% discount for paying for 6 month and 5% for paying for a year) and you get 800 MB disk space, 12GB transfer and more.

Hmm, discountasp.net does ASP.NET and I believe SQL Server is optional. But I don't know many hosts that don't do SQL Server.

I have my stuff hosted with www.1and1.com ... they also support a .NET account. You can get a developer's account with gobs of storage, more emails than a spammer would know what to do with, and it includes up to 5 domain registrations.... I pay abnout $30 every quarter, so that works out to $10 a month. Meh, looks like their Windows hosting is priced differently from their Linux package. Even still, it's an option.

I noticed Jodohost only offers win 2003 and Discount ASP.Net offers 2008. Other than that is Jodohost developer friendly. Can you upload from Visual Studio for instance? The seem to be better than asp.net save for the lack of Win2008 and SQL Server 2008.

Probably. You only need FTP, right?

Re: Inexpensive asp.net 2.0 domain hosting

Thanks guys, I'll start checking these links out tomorrow, keep em coming if ya find more.

Wether I can FTP to the project in VS or not isn't a concern since when the site's built the *.aspx and the bin & images folders are is the only stuff that's going to sit on the web host. The *.vb and *.cs files wont be copied to the web host since the client doesn't want source code available to the world (other than the aspx that is)

If I can find a domain host for my client that's inexpensive enough, I might purchase one for my personal site and starting doing my own site in .Net too.
