MICR fonts and printing checks
Does anyone have any advice or knowledge about printing checks - specifically the MICR font for the account #/transit#/check # on the check stock itself??
I've got a customer that uses blank check stock - and their old software package printed the MICR font encoding on the check face.

Yeah - we found some fonts - even some free ones (which is always nice!).
Have you ever done this yourself? Is there special placement rules on the check that must be adhered to?
I was hoping to get some info from a person who's done this already so that I can feel confident that it will work for me (and my client obviously!).
