I have one last question for the day.

Lastnight, the piece of code you gave me works fantastic. It was successful at home but is not at work. I know it has something to do with the Firewall.

Can you help with another sample of code for the Firewall.

    Thank you again.

No need for sample code here ;-)

The setting and getting through of firewalls is controlled completely by the network itself. If you are unable to get through the firewall then you need to contact the sysadmin to ask him if there actually IS a pathway through.

Most firewalls will at least allow you to set a ProxyServer with certain permissions that can navigate its way through. This means that when you connect using your INet control you need to set the "AccessType" parameter to a valid proxy that has the capability of getting through the firewall.

Basically firewalls are designed to "resist" anyone getting through them if they are not supposed to go through... which means you could write VB code til the cows come home and NEVER get through it unless the person setting up the network has given you all a door... and you need to know that door.
