What's the equivalent to system tray in MAC.
Hi all,
I want to write an application to add an system tray icon in MAC just like in Windows have. Is there such an area in MAC?

every program running gets placed automatically in the bar across the bottom. And you can pin them there. It's a combo task-manager and shortcut bar. There is also a tiny spot on the menu bar on the upper right for some icons but they are black and white, and pretty much system use only (volume control, network, etc)
