How do i get in to the registry using windows vista?

It shouldn't really be any different, but there can be more restrictions. Some parts of the registry will be harder to access, meaning you'd need more permissions. So getting into the registry would be dependant on who is running the application. However, this can be true in XP and 2000 as well, both can be made much more secure and access to registry can be blocked entirely.
Thus: are you having trouble accessing the registry in Vista, what you are trying to accomplish? Answering to these questions give a better ground for us to answer.

You need to have Administrator access.
