    This cannot be true....no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Industry sources have come up with the following statistics on Australian drinking habits.

Beer consumption has dropped by 3.5% this year. Ok have talked to the lads and we will immedialty put in place a plain to reverse this horrible trend.

    But even worse.................

Sherry consumption has increased by 0.5%

    Re: This cannot be true....no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe that's because of the excise Tax on Beer...? Funny, I just did a research project for that in MicroEconomics . "The Factors" that influence the price of Beer could be: Wine (The price of Wine has dropped), Tax on Consumers (The price of Beer for Consumers has gone-up) and a general trend towards health drinking, because they said Red Wine is actually good for health, in moderation... It dilutes the Blood System ...

BTW, Nice Avatar. Were do you get all these cool Avatars... Don't tell me you make them yourself...

No l am friggin hopeless at art......

Check out www.animfactory.com they have a real nice on-line editor as well to add those personal touches.

    Red Wine

Very good in moderation. The research l read claim that a single glass a day is beneficial to your health. Ergo if you knock off twenty or so glasses you must be almost ready for an iron man competition

Cyber are you at Uni. Nasty report in Sydney that they are going to charge students for internet hours. This is friggin disgusting, as the student we employ spends a hell of a lot of time researching on the web for his masters. Typical Liberal party attitude, the "clever country" = higher taxes on books, education.

Yep, First Year Uni at RMIT, City of Melbourne. We don't even get a Internet Account to use here at Home. The account we get is one where you can only access the RMIT proxy to search RMIT sites only The Access at UNI blocked VB-world!!!! So I use my poor old Dialup at home

They get to drive when they're 16 though. You only get to do that here if you are disabled (not that that is a good thinkg or anything). I've never quite worked that one out.

At least we've been driving for six years before we start drinking....I think that's the "logic" behind it. Plus you can start working at 16 and if you have to drive to work it helps!

I was just thinking that, probably a good idea. I think they should raise the age of driving to a convienient-for-me 20. Then we wouldn't get all these twats rolling around in their Nova SRi's with lower-than-the-road suspension (moderate lowering is ok!!) and wheels the size of roundabouts, with larger than your fist exhausts and making more noise than a *****in' jet engine with their "hardcore" ICE installs, which they probably "acquired" from the back of a lorry anyway.

    You watch Nova? Interesting.

A little lowering will improve the handling (say 20-30 mm), but if you do it too much you get srubbage with the tyres (which means you need to roll the arches) and it looks **** as well.

when you say Nova, what exactly do you mean? I mean the small hatchback car Nova, made by GM under the guise of Vauxhall (Opel in Europe).
