    Resource Hacking

    I dont know if this is the right section. But I want to hack the resources of an old DOS game and change its images. But I couldn't do it with a resource hacker because it shows "Not Valid Win32 Application" error. Please help me.

    If you go to the resource hacker website you will see a link to a shareware 16bit resource decompiler... you might also be able to find other free ones.

    Looking at the structure of compiled 16bit resources it looks like they might not be that hard to decompile yourself. Make sure you match the colour depth of any images you replace or they probably won't work.
