    [2008] Menu images

    Hi,

I am using a menubar (toolbar) and I simply inserted the standard items (right-click -> Insert standard items). This also gave me a couple of images (like the new/open/save pictures).

I have now also added a contextmenu (rightclick menu) where I have the Cut/Copy/Paste/Delete functions. However, the contextmenu control does not give me the option to Insert the standard items, and I therefor did not get the pretty images...

My question, where is VS getting the images from? I can't see them in the resources anywhere, it must be getting them internally from somewhere?

How can I acces them manually to use on the contextmenu control?

Well I guess I could do that, but if I could simply import them from somewhere that would be much faster and more accurate... I KNOW they are stored somewhere, because they are already used by the main menu bar...

If they are not in the resources then they must come 'from inside' windows itself, maybe? Otherwise the user may not have those images...

There's a ZIP file at "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\VS2008ImageLibrary\1033\VS2008ImageLibrary.zip" that I believe contains all the images VS uses.
