    What is a good Third Party Software Distribution Package?

    I know what come for free in Visual Studio, But I would like a third party one that is has no run time

    make a search in the deployment section. I remember seeing a whole lot of discussion on pros & cons of some of the well known and lesser know installers also see Deployment FAQ here

    Setup packagers all have some form of runtime. Often they place it into a temporary folder during their bootstrap phase, other packagers rely on Windows Installer which is built into all supported versions of Windows (and installable into older unsupported versions).

    Even a simple self-extracting ZIP has a runtime of a sort.

    Is this a question about the packager's runtime or the VB runtime? Can you explain your needs in more detail?
