Fail to register OCX

Why I fail to register my OCX ? I put the correct location

Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\MapWindow\MapWinGIS.ocx"

Is it already registered? Did you double check the path?

Is this your OCX? Does the OCX require any other dependencies that may not have been installed or do not exist? Are you sure it is an activeX control or something else with an ocx extension?

yes it sure ocx because I can register it in my machine...my friends used that files but cannot register.. I double check..and he put the correct location... I think I forgot to give him one files..

Does this OCX go along with an application you developed?

Oh.. I just give the project.vbp to my friends..

So I give him this OCX to register in his machine..

I can register this in my machine but fail when I try to register in his machine..

He used Windows 2000 and I used Windows XP

Are you sure the MapWinGIS.ocx supports Win2000?
