Conecting to MS SQL and password (Crystal Reports)

    Hello peepz...

As a background, I am a newbie developer when it comes to VB and Crystal Report. Currently I am developing a desktop application using VB Express Edition 2008 and Crystal Reports 8.0.

After researching through the web, I realised that there is no built-in Crystal Report for VB 2008 Express Edition. However, I did find and managed to install Crystal Report as an External Tool (.OCX). It is open the report just fine.

Unfortunately, the data displayed is the data that was saved after previewing it in the crystal report writer. When I try to refresh it, a prompt error indicating that there is a login failure to SQL server appears. I suspect it is because it was due to the fact that it does not prompt me to enter password which I was required to when I was refreshing the data in the Crystal Report writer.

Is there anywhere or any code which I could include in my coding that will store the password for my database? I desperately need this!

    Regards,
    Farah K.
