Changing DIR of a server
Hi all,
I used the API function InternetConnect to connect to a server and used FtpPutFile to copy files from a local PC to the server. What I would like to do is send a cd .. command to that server to go up one level and another cd folderName to get to the right location so I can put my file. Anyone have any idea how to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Changing DIR of a server
Declare Sub FtpSetCurrentDirectory Lib "wininet.dll" Alias "FtpSetCurrentDirectoryA" ( _
ByRef hConnect As Long, _
ByVal lpszDirectory As String)
but this will not work if you don't have permission to go up a directory from the login directory
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next
dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part
come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed
