I dont use teh package and deployment wizard, I use a freeware tool (Inno Setup) that works very much better !!
As ever, any advices are welcome....it seems, fate is conspiring against what should be a simple test!
Cheers folks.
Hi,
One way to make sure you've got all files and other settings when using Inno Setup, is to make an installation packaged with the package and deployment wizard first and import it into Inno. You can do so by using ISTool.
I know nothing about Activelock, can't help you with that.

Cheers for this Jottum. I will check this out. I have had a big old search of Google and it woud seem I may need to manually add any OCX files needed with Inno..cheers again.
Note: Mods/Admins...apologies, I think I should have posted this udner the deployment forum!!

No Problem.
And, even though this appears to be solved I'll move it over anyway as if someone would be search on this topic, they would probably be searching in this forum section.

Very bad Idea... It will give you the same problems that a PDW setup will give you if it has problems.
It will give you a start but you should really know what you are about to engage in.
