The font may be in a suitcase, just drag it and drop onto the System Folder icon and it will install it for you

Oh my god.... they make it so easy to do, yet hard to figure out That's why I hate macs...

now where would the system folder be, and where do I download a font to? I dont currently have a man in front of me, but my moms friend asked me to install russian fonts on her computer (she's the one with the mac)

where would I find the SYSTEM folder, and does MAC have winzip or any other ZIPing utilite? And would the .tff fonts that work on windows work for mac?

Macs usually use the SIT (StuffIt) format. And I'm not sure if later versions work with .ttf fonts, normally Macs use PostScript fonts.
It's just under the root of the hard disk.
