Hey,
I'm running VB5.0 on win98 when i try to make a winsock icon on my form it says:
"License Informatin for this component not found.You do not a have an appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment."
Ahhh..!! what do i do to use this function?

if you want to use it your must have MSwinsock.ocx and and so on e-mail me at

and i well send you the files you need and the install bat to register and how to get it to work i well send it friday cuase tomorrow ill be gone alright peace out

Actually, what this means is you don't have legal permission to insert the WinSock control into your form. Either you're using VB Learning Edition, or when you installed Professional/Enterprise, the license registry entry for Winsock.ocx wasn't installed correctly.
