    Re: MCP Certifications

The depends entirely on what tests you will be taking.

There are quite a number to choice from.

We are talking about your interests, so how can anything be "wrong"?

I see 5 or 6 tests in the VB.NET area that you could select from.

Do you have at least 2 years of experience in coding in VB.NET (Microsoft recommends a minimum of 2 years before taking an exam.)

    Re: MCP Certifications

    The duration is only suggested.

You need to decide which track to take. VB or C# and then if you want to get an MCP, MCAD, or MCSD in 2003 or go with the 2005 certs which are MCP, MCTS, or MCPD.

Then you are wanting to go the 2005 route. Have you checked out the MS topics covered in the tests?
