I've never heard of it, and neither has Google.

When I ran "poker stars protocol" through Google, the one and only return was a link to this thread.

What is it?

Poker Stars is a poker game. I need the protocol to make a poker bot ;]

From their Terms and Conditions:

5.5. AUTOMATIC PLAYERS (BOTS). The use of artificial intelligence including, without limitation, "robots" is strictly forbidden in connection with the Service. All actions taken in relation to the Service by a User must be executed personally by players through the user interface accessible by use of the Software.

Of course doing it at all can get you in to serious trouble.. if you lose, you could lose lots of money. If are found out (win or lose) you are almost certainly breaking one or more laws (fraud?), thus likely to get into even worse trouble.
