Just take your bat to the vets office and have it get its shots. Then you can play with your bat worry free.

How sad. There were 4 bats that had hopes of being adopted by you and are now on death row at the county animal shelter with just a couple of days left. They ask you to reconsider and adopt them all. They need a good home.
