    Configuration Tools in Managemen studio..

    Hi ,
I just installed Sql server 2005 database server.I had sql server 2000 installed in my system already.
I need to connect to some remote sql server 2005 database. For that I need the configuration tool.
But while checking Start->All Programms->Microsoft sql server 2005->Configuration tools I can see only one link that is Sql server Error and usage report.
Did I miss anything while installation.
I had installed Sql erver 2005 Client on MS XP Operating ssystem.
Can any body help me how can I see the sql server Surface Area manger link in the configuration tool link????
    Please help me regarding this.....
    Thanks

Do you have the full version of 2005 or the Express version?

I dont have Express but first your remote db needs to be setup to allow remote connections. Then anything you need should be in the management studio itself. Look in the menus as the tools are located in there too.
