[RESOLVED] Explorer - Send To
I'm using Windows XP, I just upgraded to a SATA hard disk. Now everytime I right click on a file to select 'Send To', all the volumes of my SATA drives appear in the list.
I checked in the Send To folder, there is only desktop shortcut and my documents.
Also when i click safety remove to remove my pen drive, i see the hard disk there too. Why is the SATA disk being identified as removable storage?

Did you check both your specific account's send to folder and the all user's send to folder?
My monkey wearing the fedora points and laughs at you.

Yes, I tried my account, all users, unhide everything but i see nothing there.
i think it works like how when u pop in a pen drive, only while the pen drive is plugged in the drive appears in 'send to'. But if you look for it in the folders u cant see anything.
But why is SATA under removable disks??

Re: Explorer - Send To
Unlike (P)ATA drives, an SATA hard drive can actually be removed while the computer is running, unless it is the system drive!
In this computer I only have a single SATA hard drive (thus it is the system drive), so it can't be removed.. but it still shows up in the "safely remove" list, and I haven't found a way to stop that.
