[2005] Web Application not working over LAN
plz, can someone still help, this problem still remains. i just configured a virtual directory for a web application in IIS( application name is ePoint ) .opening my browser and typing http://localhost/ePoint or http://192.168.1.2/ePoint will launch the application and it works fine. but none of the other computers on the LAN can access the application. whenever i type http://192.168.1.2/ePoint on their web browsers, it displays the famous The Page cannot be Displayed
all computers on the network runs windows XP with service pack 2 ( and they also have .NET framework 2.0) .the computer where the web application resides has IIS 5.1
plz, any setting i need to make or configure?

Does the web server has a firewall? If it does, did you add an exception for TCP in port 80 in the proper NIC (network card)?
I do like the reward system. If you find that my post was useful, rate it.
