i am using asp for accessing the databases but when i try to use addnew method there is no error reported in comilation but when i try to update these records to the database it returns eith a error saying " changes were not successful because they would create duplicate records in the database change the values or fields " And the fact is there is no record with that reference in the database

do need to make any extra settings for this
