Thread: error message in dao

    I have a programm with an Access database. On the database there's a password, I use the data control. Now I get the error: Couldn't find installable ISAM.

    Does anybody knows what this means.

    It means that you are not passing the password/username syntax correctly in your connect string. Check the extended properties and ensure that you have entered the correct details.

    I have posted on this before so a Search in the forum may be useful.
