PMs - caching problem?

Hey Sorry if I'm the tenth person that's pointed this out, as often happens, but there is something slightly annoying about the PM facility:

Whenever I get a PM, I click okay to read it and again to open in a new window, but it doesn't show any new messages in the list until I refresh the window that was just opened. I suppose this must be a caching problem, but I am not sure at which end (server or client) since I don't seem to get this problem in any other area of the site. I have a feeling there is something you can set up server side to make the browser get a new copy from the server rather than just use the recently cached version, but I guess you'll know better than me

It happened to me too...But when i took a closer look
the default folder it opened was Sent Mail folder...which is not the right place to look for new incoming mails.

So after that I change to Inbox folder everytime to see the new messages.
