Hyperterminal Application

dear dilettante,

I have developed hyper terminal application using visual basic 6, and i have used mscomm component, my program is working well in win98
but it is not running on windows XP,
because i have to set vt100, ansi, ansiw .... emulator

how to set this emulator with my component...

please help me.

The best thing to do with this issue is to start a new topic thread here. It is different from the Telnet question we have in this topic.

When you do this, be sure to describe the problem a little bit more.

For example, your VB6 MSComm program. What does it do? Is it a program that works like HyperTerminal, or is it a program which accepts incoming connections from another computer running HyperTerminal?

Describe where the ANSI, etc. emulation is a problem for you on Windows XP. Tell how you are handling the emulation on Windows 98 that is working there.

I'm sure people will be able to offer more help with additional information about the problem.
