vBulletin Version
Just wondering why an upgrade has not been made from the current version used 3.5.7 to 3.6.7.
vBulletin 3.6.7 Released
Not that anything is wrong with the forums, but it is a free upgrade apparently.

Re: vBulletin Version
Well, Jupiter Media owns ~30 Forums sites all running vBulletin. It takes planning and testing before they were to perform an upgrade. Then they have to do that for each site. Ad revenue is where they get the money to pay for new servers, licenses, domain name renewals, developers salaries etc. I think its been an average of an upgrade once every year or 1.5. Soon as they finish all sites then they usually start all over again.

Re: vBulletin Version
RobDog888 is right in that we don't do ever single point upgrade. The last upgrade required major changes to sites and thus we are still installing it on a few remaining forums that require special customizations.
Our Forum Manager stays aware of, and ievaluates all updates to, the forum software, so if there is something critical in an update, he'll make sure it gets scheduled as soon as possible.
