I am using DevExpress Reports, and I was wondering how to have a running total of an item for the report.

Here's the catch; there is no data bound to the report at design time. ( This could also go for crystal reports if you know how to do it with that. I can possibly transpose over to devexpress ).

I bind the report to the data at run time and then from their it fills all of the required fields. This allows me to set the query before it fills the data, and allows me to filter the data before it generates a report.

If anyone can help get a summary that would be amazing.
