Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find a detailed tutorial about bitblt? I'd like to learn how to use and understand it. thanx

you might want to check out http://www.oneringsoftware.com this is where i first learned about bitblt. it has a series of tutorials that will take you step by step into making more advanced bitblt programs. its pretty good but hasnt been updated in a while. maybe you might want to look elsewhere.

Maybe my site is non-existant, but I have a tutorial too, which also shows how to do inverted masks (colour/texture dipping, if you will)
